Membership in the Ottawa Classical Choir is by audition. All voices are welcome, and auditions are open to anyone who wants to challenge themselves by singing the great works of classical choral music with a dedicated group and conductor.

2011/2012 season auditions will be held on Thursday, September 1st at 7:30 pm in the Resurrection of our Lord Church (1940 Saunderson Drive)

Auditions are simple, and consist of an assessment of the singer's vocal range (in order to assign him or her to a section) and basic music reading skills. However, you do not need to read music to sing with us.

Singing with the Ottawa Classical Choir gives you the opportunity to:

• rehearse and perform in a friendly, supportive and non-competitive atmosphere
• receive professional vocal coaching with an international class opera singer
• perform with world-class soloists and a professional orchestra under the direction of Maestro Michel Brousseau
• sing regularly in Ottawa, Montreal, Mont-Tremblant and Ste.-Therese, among other locations
• tour abroad with the choir (our 2011 tour will be in France)
